Shannon Jones received a B.S. in Environmental Health from Western Carolina University in 1999. In 2003 she received a Masters in Public Health at Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health. Shannon is currently a commissioned Lieutenant with the United States Public Health Service and is detailed to the United States Coast Guard in Norfolk, Virginia as an Environmental Health Officer.

Shannon has been involved in youth ministry on a volunteer basis for 5 years. Shannon can sympathize with young people facing struggles and can identify with those who face particularly difficult circumstances. Shannon’s heart is dedicated to serving adolescents trying to pursue God’s vision of sexuality in a society saturated with unhealthy sexuality. With her academic and public health background, Shannon is highly qualified for her role with Ultimate Escape, providing young people with accurate information and knowledge about healthy sexuality.

Shannon is engaged to be married in June 2006 to her best friend Bobby, with whom she shares a sweet, 8 year old, yellow Labrador Retriever. As for hobbies, Shannon enjoys singing with the Praise Team at the church she attends. In her spare time she also enjoys attending High Performance Driving events with her fiancée, baking, scrap booking, photography and outlet mall shopping.

Shannon has an unwavering faith in God’s plan for her life and is committed to following His will. Her life thus far is a powerful testimony to His amazing providence and faithfulness.
